#OccupyGamingEdit

We are the 99%, and the question is how to stage Occupations in Game-Worlds.

In recent years, indie-game developers have shown that the most beautiful, political, evocative, creative, and wildly entertaining games are those being made outside of the few monopolistic game corporations. Indie-gaming is already an Occupation, and the 99% movement is a cause worthy of our creativity.

This blog is a space for creating and sharing games that raise awareness, deepen solidarity, and teach skills that benefit the 99% of humanity.

The 99% MovementEdit

On September 17, 2011, people from all across the United States of America and the world came to protest the blatant injustices perpetuated by the 1% - the economic and political elites – whose actions affect all of us, the 99%.

We spoke out, resisted, and successfully occupied Wall Street. Today, we proudly remain engaged in non-violent civil disobedience while building solidarity
based on mutual respect, acceptance, and love.

We are the 99% and we have assumed full responsibility for the future of our society, our culture, and most
importantly, our own lives. - From the NYC General Assembly

Occupations have spread to 89 countries around the globe. As you find your place in the Occupation of All Game-Worlds, also learn about and support your local Occupation: www.occupytogether.org
